This complete tour of Siran, perfect for the great wine lovers, focuses on the gastronomic experience of wine, in addition to the discovery of the Chai des Collections, a true artistic and archaeological museum, the vats and aging cellars but also the nuclear bunker housing the collection of more than 30,000 bottles of old Siran vintages.

About the host

Owned by the same family since 1859, Siran is an original property with many unique surprises including the panoramic terrace with a superb view of the Margaux appellation and the atomic shelter built to house the Château Siran wine library dating back to 1912.

For over 40 years, Siran has offered visitors the opportunity to share the family’s passion for the art of creating great wines and tasting them. One of the few Médoc châteaux that can be visited every day from May to September and the rest of the year from Tuesday to Saturday, by appointment, Château Siran is well worth the stop!

We had a super nice guide, she has a great pace and natural storytelling. The facilities are fantastic, well taken care of and super interesting. We had the cheese board with 4 wines and it was great. The explanation was super nice and enjoying.

It was excellent. We were there at harvest time and were able to see the production process first hand. The tasting afterwards was also very good and afterwards our guide reserved us a table for lunch in the neighboring town.

Fantastic! The guide was very knowledgeable, the wonderful environment was very well-kept. The museum is extraordinary. We also did the tour of the vault and a tasting with cheeses of 4 wines. Wow we bought so many wines, everything was too good!
